Seeing that we were in Paris for our honeymoon and the setting for the Beauty and the Beast is in France, my hubby and I could not find a better reason to dress up as Belle and Prince Adam from the fairy tale and had our couple photoshoot done. We booked a photoshoot session through Airbnb experiences and were happy with our experience. 😊

Beauty and the Beast – Something There
The Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite fairy tales that I fondly grew up with. It is just only recently that I developed a great love for this particular fairy tale because it reminds me so much of my love story with my husband.
Like Belle, I believe that there must be more than this provincial life and true enough, I met my husband in the most unexpected way and circumstances. To cut the long story short, the lyrics from the song below describes it accurately:
There’s something sweet and almost kind
But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined
And now he’s dear and so I’m sure
I wonder why I didn’t see it there before
She glanced this way, I thought I saw
And when we touched she didn’t shudder at my paw

Airbnb Experiences – Explore Paris with a Personal Photoshoot
Airbnb has recently launched and been promoting their Airbnb Experiences which are one-of-a-kind activities designed and hosted by locals that offer a deep-dive into the local host’s world through their unique perspective and passion – whether it is their love of photography, cooking, or sharing the history of their neighbourhood.
The hosts offer their guests special knowledge, unique skills, and inside access to local places and communities that guests couldn’t find on their own, creating lasting connections and treasured memories.
In our case, we booked a personal photoshoot in Paris to capture our priceless time spent in the city of love without having to worry about taking our own photos that might produce less than satisfactory photos. After all, it is a-once-in-a-lifetime experience, so why not splurge a little to ensure that we get the best, right?
And to be honest, we did not spend much either for the entire photoshoot. 😉 Our custom-made Belle and Prince Adam’s costumes were ordered from AliExpress, and I did my own make-up and hairstyle. Easy peasy.

An Unforgettable Belle & Prince Adam Moment in Paris, France
The 2-hour Airbnb “Explore Paris with a Personal Photoshoot” experience hosted by Ranjit costs us about €102 (€51 per person), for a group of six people max, per session. We met Ranjit at Place du Trocadero metro station and found out that we were the only couple/people that booked and turned up for the experience for the day, hence, we scored ourselves a private photoshoot in the end! 🤩🎉🙌
Ranjit was friendly, accommodative and professional throughout the entire photoshoot in Paris session. The areas that we covered include Trocadero, Palais de Chaillot, Carrousel de la Tour Eiffel, Fontaine de Varsovie, Pont d’lena and Pont Alexandre lll.
The walk itself to the places above was enjoyable and we were often stopped in our tracks by passersby asking to take photographs with us. In other words, we were treated like celebrities that day and received numerous compliments for our Beauty and the Beast look.

In a Nutshell
We received a total of 73 HD resolution retouched photos from our couple photoshoot in Paris session with Ranjit by email, about two days after the photoshoot.
Both my husband and I are happy with the candid and styled photographs he took for us, also for the priceless memories we made on that day. Thanks to that, we now have a set of beautiful photos which we are able to frame up and display in our home. 😍
