Cube Boutique Hotel is a unique, 3-star budget hotel located at Jalan Pudu, right in the heart of Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. Getting there is easy as it is located by the road, approximately 3-5-minutes walk from Imbi Monorail Station. I booked my room via Booking.com and stayed in a standard single room for 2 nights.
The room facilities are as follows: Air conditioning, en-suite/private bathroom, flat screen TV with Astro channels, hairdryer, hot/cold shower, wireless internet access and a writing desk. Water dispensers and ironing boards are strategically placed throughout the hotel’s premises. Breakfast is not provided although they do sell some light drinks and snacks at the reception counter.
My room, being a standard single room was small in size in general, however the unique décor of the room as well as the amenities available made up for its lack of size. If you are slightly claustrophobic or dislike being in a small room with no windows, you might want to consider booking another type of room or personally request for a room with a window. Typical to most rooms found in Asia, the walls are not really sound-proofed therefore do expect some noise if you have a bunch of rowdy, noisy neighbours.
Overall, my stay there was a pleasant one and I have no complaints with regards to their service or facilities. Their staff was neither friendly or rude. If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Bukit Bintang that does not only look good and has good amenities but is strategically located near shopping complexes (Berjaya Times Square, Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Starhill Gallery, Pavilion, Fahrenheit 88, Sephora) with public transport aplenty, do give this hotel a try.

Yup, I like its simple and modern with a touch of traditional concept. 🙂
