After doing some thorough research and reading many good reviews on the reputable and reliable tour guides that are available in Bali, I have decided to hire the good service of Mr. Agoes Surya (for 3 days) and not forgetting, Mr. Agung Wijaya (for 1 day) from Denpasar. Both came highly recommended by travellers and travel bloggers alike who had experienced their exceptional hospitality and service.
Below is my personalised 4D/3N travel itinerary in Bali. For those who are planning to go to or visit Bali, the information provided here can be used as a guide for you to plan your travel itinerary or trip. The contact details of both tour guides are also provided below. 🙂

– Pura Tirtha Empul, Tampaksiring
– Lunch at Grand Puncak Sari Restaurant, Kintamani
– Pura Agung Besakih, Karangasem – Note: Please avoid visiting this scammy place at all cost!! Despite paying for the entrance fee, my sister and I were stopped in our tracks by several “male officials” as we approached the temple, asked to register ourselves at the registration counter and pressured to donate Rp.1,000,000 just to get a “local guide/guardian” to accompany us on an exclusive tour around the temple! We were denied entry into the temple and were constantly harassed by the “local guides/guardians” there to take up their service which we persistently refused. In conclusion, visiting the site was a huge mistake and it wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. 🙁
– Dinner at Bebek Bengil (Dirty Duck Diner), Ubud
DAY 4
– Ubud @ Pick up time: 9am- Semar Kuning 1 Artist Cooperative, Lodtunduh Ubud-Gianyar- Mammoth Art Gallery Wood Carving
– Cahaya Silver Gallery- Fun dive at Serangan Dive & Water Sport

Hey I liked your itinerary and want to include the jungle safari. Can you please tell me how much in total it cost you so I can save some money.
Hi Naveen,
In total we spent less than Rp.4,000,000 for the entire trip excluding airfare. Kindly contact the drivers/tour guides mentioned above either Mr. Agoes or Mr. Agung for an accurate fare quote in accordance with the rise of petrol price and the cost of living in Bali. Hope that helps and happy holiday to you! 🙂
Hi Arlida,
They only drive us around to our destinations and occasionally, they'll share some bits and info along the way. You may request for them to accompany you throughout the journey and be your tour guides. They're both friendly and helpful plus their charges are reasonable.
Happy travels to the Land of the Gods! Enjoy your trip. =D
Thank you for the contacts, do they just drive you around or are they also travel guides?
Me too, there wasn't enough time to visit Lovina and all but that gives us an opportunity to go back to Bali again, right? I think, travelling by motorcycle is an even better way to explore Bali as you can navigate through the villages and places where cars can't go! 😉
Awesome tips! When I was in Bali, private drivers was kinda off limit because I was traveling alone, so it was public buses ftw, and motorcycle drivers. But Bali was so awesome, I wish I stayed longer and head up north to Lovina or to Mt. Agung or something, and the Gilis!
Hey babe, it's on its way! Stay tune for it. 😉
Looking forward for your post on Bali trip! ^^
You're most welcome, panda! I miss Bali too! I will certainly be back for more. 🙂
Yes, I will. Stay tune for it. 😉
Oh thanks for the drivers' contact numbers. May need it one day. LOL! Yes, a personal driver is best way to get around and planning your own itinerary is the best!! Never follow tour operators – that's always my rule No. 1 when traveling haha! I miss Bali, especially Ubud! : )
dont forget to blog about it erika! 😀
